We were honoured to be invited to play a leading role at the first ever R3 Northern Conference. The Conference took place on 22nd and 23rd March 2012 at the picturesque Oulton Hall near Leeds. Attendees came from all three R3 “Northern” Regions – North East, North West and Yorkshire.
Very ably chaired by Irwin Mitchell’s Andrew Walker, the conference featured key note presentations by Garry Wilson of Endless, Ed McNamara of PWC and R3 President Frances Coulson on “Administration Expenses” and a fascinating case study on Southern Cross by Kenny McKay and Richard Hill of KPMG.
Manolete Partners’ Managing Director, Steven Cooklin, took part in a lively session on “Pursuing Claims in Insolvency Cases following the Jackson Report”. Joining Steven on stage were John McDermott of HMRC and Robert Brown of hlw Keeble Hawson.
Steven presented on the various current litigation funding options available to IPs, the likely impacts on those funding options post Jackson and the unique solution to these issues presented by Manolete’s bespoke insolvency litigation acquisition and funding products.
For copies of Steven’s presentation or to discuss any questions you may have, please feel free to contact us.
